Creating tags

In the SEAD Administrators portal, tagging allows any one of project, data, or user administrators to create searchable tags and link them to users, projects, products or organisations, assisting in management and navigation of these objects. Tags are an optional tool for SEAD partners. To create tags, select the ‘Tags page from the left side navigation panel.

Note: Tags are not visible to users and only appear within the administrator’s portal/user interface.

From the ‘Tags’ page, you can view and search all current tags. You can also download a CSV report of all tags by clicking ‘Export’ (circled red). To create a new tag, select the ‘New Tag’ button presented at the top of your screen.

Add the required ‘Tag Name’ and ‘Tag Values’, selecting ‘add’  after each tag value is entered. Add as many values as needed, however, this should be a focused few variables. Values can be removed by selecting the grey ‘X’ beside the newly added values. Once you are satisfied with the values added, select ‘Submit’.

Using tags

Created tags can be added to new or existing ‘users’, ‘projects’, ‘products’, or ‘organisations’ records. Navigate to the relevant tab (e.g. ‘users’, ‘projects’, etc.) on the left navigation panel. Open the relevant record and select the ‘Edit’ button. You will be navigated to a new window, select the ‘Tag’ and ‘Tag Value’ you wish to add to the record. Then select ‘Add’ (circled red), once the tag is added it will appear under the heading ‘Tags Added’. Select ‘Submit’ to finalise.
