In Yorke Peninsula, the median age of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people was 24 years. Of the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people 33.9% were children aged 0 to 14 years and 7.2% were people aged 65 years and over.

Cultural & language diversity

English was the only language spoken at home by 95.3% of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in Yorke Peninsula. The only other responses for language at home were Narungga 0.7% and Aboriginal English, so described 0.4%.
