As an ABS graduate, you will:

  • be placed in a permanent full-time role.
  • undertake a 12-month development program that includes rotations, workshops, projects, shadowing and coaching opportunities, panel discussions and engaging with communities of practice.
  • participate in on-the-job training specific to your role.
  • do meaningful work from day one.
  • be valued for your unique perspective and diverse views.

We offer you

  • An attractive starting salary from $75,746 plus 15.4% superannuation. Upon completion of the 12-month program, your salary will advance to $88,096 plus 15.4% superannuation.

Learning and development

We use a blended learning model, incorporating e-learning, face-to-face and virtual learning, delivered both internally and by external providers.

ABS Graduates will have the opportunity to:

  • participate in group projects, building data capability, project management and teamwork skills.
  • attend workshops, seminars and have networking opportunities.
  • improve their data and statistical capability.
  • shadow the executives.

As an ABS graduate, you will be assigned a graduate ‘buddy’, an experienced team member that offers support and provides coaching and mentoring.
