The ABS Graduate Development Program supports graduates to begin their careers in the Australian Public Service. As an ABS graduate, you will:

• be placed in a permanent full-time role.
• undertake a 12-month development program that includes rotations, workshops, projects, shadowing and coaching opportunities, panel discussions and engaging with communities of practice.
• participate in on-the-job training specific to your role.
• do meaningful work from day one.
• be valued for your unique perspective and diverse views.

• An attractive starting salary from $79,125 plus 15.4% superannuation. Upon completion of the 12-month program, your salary will advance to $88,096 plus 15.4% superannuation.

We use a blended learning model, incorporating e-learning, face-to-face and virtual learning, delivered both internally and by external providers.

 As an ABS Graduate you will:

• work on real projects that build your data, project management, and teamwork skills.
• attend workshops and seminars and expand your professional network.
• improve your data and statistical capability with hands-on experience.
• shadow senior executives for unique insights into leadership.
