Complete or access your survey form

This page has information for completing your survey online.

To access your survey, you will need to enter the Form Access Code found on your letter or email. This code is case sensitive and will be a mixture of letters and numbers.

You only need to enter your Form Access Code once. After that, you will find your survey in the ‘My Surveys’ section on your ABS Survey Account page.

If this is your first attempt and you see a message saying it is already claimed, please contact us.

If you are having problems accessing your survey form, please try the following:

• Close your internet browser. Then, open a new browser window and try logging back in.
• Open your ABS Survey Account and survey form in a different web browser.
• Clear your cache/browsing history by referring to your browser’s instructions.
• Wait and log back in later. We may be experiencing a high volume of traffic, which can sometimes cause issues.
• Check to see if you have already claimed your form. If you have claimed your Form Access Code in an earlier session, you will not need to enter it again. Scroll down to ‘My Surveys’ on your ABS Survey Account page. Your survey should be there with a ‘Start’ or ‘Resume’ button.

If your survey form isn't displaying correctly or you can't proceed, your browser might not have JavaScript enabled. This is most common for older versions of web browsers. You can usually enable JavaScript in 'Options', under the 'Tools' menu. If you need web browser help, you can try the 'Help' menu in your web browser.

After you submit your form, the last page will show a confirmation message. You can also see the status of the survey in the 'My survey form history' section of your account. When you have completed your form, the status will be ‘Finished’.

You can reallocate survey forms to another person in your business or organisation.

Once you add your form to the ‘My Surveys’ section, you can reallocate it. Just click the 'Delegate' button to assign it to someone else. 

Only one person can access a survey form at a time. You can reallocate it as many times as you want.

If you save and exit your survey form before reallocating it, you will save your answers.
