Service Desk Officers

Service Desk Officers provide a responsive, high-quality and dependable customer support service to ABS staff. They act as a point of contact to support ABS staff reporting issues or requesting information, access or other services.

They are responsible for managing Services@ABS, including maintaining oversight of all incidents and requests, ensuring they are assigned to the correct group for actioning.

They also assist staff over the telephone with urgent queries and requests, and provide support, education and guidance in relation to computer infrastructure, and the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues.

Information Management Officers

Information Management Officers provide information and knowledge management systems and practices that enable staff in the ABS to share, access, store and update ABS business information and knowledge.

They do this by developing, maintaining, implementing and delivering manual and electronic systems for keeping, updating, accessing and preserving information. This includes ICT records and other documents and files.
