The Basic Confidentialised Unit Record File from the 1994 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survey CURF was released in 1996 and consists of unidentified statistical records containing data on 18,753 persons including demographic data for household, income unit, family and person levels. A full list of the data items to be released is provided in National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survey: Unit Record File (cat. no. 4188.0.15.001).
The Expanded Confidentialised Unit Record File from the 1994 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survey, released on 1 September 2006 with revised weights and Remoteness Areas, can be used for comparison with the 2002 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Survey.
