Microdata prices |
|
Microdata access is priced in accordance with ABS Pricing Policy and Commonwealth Cost Recovery Guidelines. Access to CURFs and Survey TableBuilder datasets is charged per organisation, not per person. Additional users of CURFs and Survey TableBuilder datasets in an organisation will not incur additional charges. ABS does not charge an annual or renewal fee for access.
A CURF 'bundle' is the concurrent purchase of both Basic and Expanded versions of a CURF via a single CURF application. ABS is able to offer the bundled price because the cost of processing a single application for both access formats is less than that of processing two separate applications. The bundle is only available where the requested CURF has been released in both Basic and Expanded formats. For more information about the pricing of Specialist CURFs contact microdata.access@abs.gov.au. Census TableBuilder prices For pricing and access in relation to 2006 Census TableBuilder, refer to the 2006 Census of Population and Housing Product Brief. Information on 2011 Census TableBuilder prices can be found in the Information Paper: Census of Population and Housing - Products and Services, 2011. How to pay An invoice will be mailed to the organisation following approval by ABS of the application for CURFs, Survey TableBuilder or Census TableBuilder. Staff and students of universities participating in the ABS/Universities Australia Agreement will not be invoiced. This is because Universities Australia has paid for access on behalf of participating universities. This page last updated 19 July 2012
