The ABS Data Strategy
The ABS Data Strategy 2025–30 sets out the framework for how the ABS will manage, govern and leverage data as a strategic asset to inform Australia’s important decisions. It builds on the achievements of the previous ABS Data Strategy 2021–25 and reflects the organisation’s increasing data maturity, progress in digital modernisation, and the evolving expectations of government, data providers and data users.
The ABS Data Strategy 2025-30 is closely aligned to the Commonwealth Government’s Data and Digital Government Strategy.
