Are you an early career professional looking to gain some work experience while studying at university?

A career with the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) offers valuable industry experience while working on projects that improve the lives of all Australians.

We work with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) to recruit current university students for the Data and Digital Cadet Program.

The program aims to combine part-time work experience with training to enhance your university studies. You may also be eligible for an academic allowance while you study. Once you have graduated from your degree in a data or digital field you could continue on to full-time work.

The ABS has offices in all capital cities and Geelong.
