INNOVATION STILL IN DEVELOPMENT
Almost one in four businesses had innovation still in development as at 30 June 2014 (25%). Marketing methods was the type of innovation most likely to still be in development (13%), while organisational/managerial processes, at 9%, were the type of innovation least likely to still be in development as at 30 June 2014. Businesses in the Information media and telecommunications industry were the most likely to have had each type of innovation still in development. Specifically, 26% of businesses in the industry had marketing methods still in development; 24% had goods or services still in development; 23% had operational processes still in development; and 17% had organisational/managerial processes still in development.
