ABANDONED INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY
The proportion of businesses that abandoned at least one type of innovative activity during the year ended 30 June 2014 was 8%. Businesses with 200 or more persons employed had the lowest proportion of abandoned innovative activity (7%), while the highest was in businesses with 5-19 persons employed (10%). Marketing methods were the most common type of innovative activity abandoned (4%), while operational processes and organisational/managerial processes were the least likely to be abandoned (both 2%).
