The likelihood that a business had a web presence increased with each successive employment size range. As at 30 June 2014, over a third of businesses with 0-4 persons employed had a web presence (37%), compared with 97% of businesses with 200 or more persons employed.
Businesses in the Information media and telecommunications industry were the most likely to have a web presence (74%), followed by those in the Arts and recreation services industry (66%). Businesses in the Agriculture, forestry and fishing industry were the least likely to have a web presence (13%).
