Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of crime

Data about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of crime is presented for New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

Data for Queensland is only available for assault and sexual assault in 2024, due to data quality issues. 2024 data is not comparable to earlier years.

Based on an ABS assessment, Indigenous status data for other states and territories is not of sufficient quality and/or does not meet ABS standards for national reporting in 2024.
