Trend estimates

Total job vacancies in November 2019 were 237,100, a decrease of 0.4% from August 2019.
The number of job vacancies in the private sector was 212,700 in November 2019, a decrease of 0.9% from August 2019.
The number of job vacancies in the public sector was 24,400 in November 2019, an increase of 4.3% from August 2019.

Estimates of percentage change shown in this release have been calculated using unrounded estimates, and may be different from, but are more accurate than, movements obtained from calculating percentage change using the rounded estimates presented in the Tables and the datacubes on the Data downloads section.
