Lending indicators

In seasonally adjusted terms:

• The total number of new loan commitments for dwellings fell 5.4% in the June quarter 2026 while the value fell 5.2%.
• The number of new owner occupier loan commitments for dwellings fell 3.3% in the quarter while the value fell 1.9%.
• The number of new investor loan commitments for dwellings fell 8.6% in the quarter while the value fell 10.2%.
• The number of new owner occupier first home buyer loan commitments for dwellings fell 2.9% in the quarter while the value rose 0.2%.
