Lending indicators

In seasonally adjusted terms:

• The total number of new loan commitments for dwellings fell 6.2% in the March quarter 2026 while the value fell 3.8%.
• The number of new owner occupier loan commitments for dwellings fell 6.9% in the quarter while the value fell 4.3%.
• The number of new investor loan commitments for dwellings fell 5.3% in the quarter while the value fell 3.0%.
• The number of new owner occupier first home buyer loan commitments for dwellings fell 4.3% in the quarter while the value fell 6.7%.
