  • Carries out inspections, maintenance and repairs in elevated, confined and restricted areas
  • Sets up hauling and lowering systems for tools, materials or personnel
  • Inspects and maintains rope access equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Ensures adherence to national and state/territory workplace health and safety standards and procedures
  • May execute rope-based rescue procedures in emergencies
