Main tasks
- Develops creative concepts and content for events such as weddings, sporting events, festivals, conventions, exhibitions and trade shows
- Translates client briefs and objectives into a production vision and delivery plan
- Plans and oversees the production process, from concept and pre-production through rehearsal, live delivery and pack down
- Directs creative, technical and production elements on-site, including staging, audiovisual, content and show flow, to ensure delivery matches the creative vision
- Logs all production costs to ensure expenditure is in line with the event budget and reports any budget variances to the Event Manager
- Liaises and consults with clients and stakeholders throughout the production process to manage expectations, approvals and changes to scope
- Identifies and manages production risks and contingencies, and reviews completed events against objectives to inform improvements for future productions
- Oversees the activities of the production crew, technical staff, presenters and performers during the production of the event
