This group includes where a person knowingly receives, manages, or possesses money or goods taken or obtained illegally. It excludes international money laundering and acts involving fraud.

Inclusions:

  • Domestic transfer of illicit funds
  • Possess money from sale of illegal or stolen items
  • Possess stolen goods
  • Other acts involving receiving or handling the proceeds of crime

Exclusions:

  • International money laundering – coded to 0899 Fraud and related offences, nec  
  • Obtain money through fraud, extortion, robbery, or other means – coded by offence type
