MADIP BASIC LONGITUDINAL EXTRACT, 2011-2016 (2011-2016 Cohorts)

INTRODUCTION

The Multi-Agency Data Integration Project (MADIP) Basic Longitudinal Extract, 2011-2016 (2011-2016 Cohorts) microdata product (herein referred to as the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011-2016 Cohorts)) is the second MADIP longitudinal microdata product made available in the DataLab for authorised researchers.

The main purpose of the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011-2016 Cohorts) is to allow the value of the MADIP to be realised. This is achieved by safely providing a curated, user-friendly and policy-relevant research dataset for authorised researchers to conduct statistical analysis and research. The dataset does not include any direct identifiers (such as name and address) and can be accessed in the secure DataLab.

An overview of the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011-2016 Cohorts) can be found on the Product overview page, including a description of the data included in the microdata product.

Further information about the product, including the scope and coverage, the linking methodology and sources of error, is available on the Methodology page.

Details about the data items included in the microdata product are on the Data items page. A Data Item List is available in the Downloads tab.
