ABS statistical program

The ABS statistical program produces statistics to support a better understanding of children's experiences and outcomes across Australia, from birth to 14 years of age. 

New insights are now available, with links below. 

Additional products will be released in 2027 using the Life Course Dataset. They will be designed to be accessible and relevant to a diverse range of users. Some products will draw on new data developments, including an experimental indicator of child disadvantage which incorporates measures relevant to children’s social, economic, and educational wellbeing.
