PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Census Fact Sheets are a quick reference product, one to two pages long, designed to assist in the use and interpretation of Census data. They provide a summary of conceptual and data issues, and any changes that have occurred since the last Census.

Most Fact Sheets focus on either a new or complex question on the Census form, or a particular output variable, such as family composition.

The ABS initiates the development of some Fact Sheets. Others are written in response to a high number of enquiries about a particular topic. Suggestions for topics are also welcome.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Fact sheets are aimed at all users of Census data.
