To help you assess the usefulness of
the data for your needs

Quality declaration

Includes information on the quality of Census data with regard to relevance, timeliness, accuracy, coherence, interpretability and accessibility.

Papers to assess and report on various aspects of 2011 Census data quality.

Statements

Data Quality Statements contain the non-response rate for each Census variable, and a brief outline of any known data quality issues that affect data published from the 2011 Census.

Non-response rates

General information about the 2011 Census non-response rates for Person, Items and Dwellings. Includes non-response rate tables for each state and territory, and the whole of Australia (including Other Territories).

Fact sheets

Fact sheets provide a summary of conceptual and data issues, including a summary of changes that have occurred since the last Census. They are designed to assist in the use and interpretation of Census data.
