DWELLING UNITS APPROVED The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 1.0% in July and has fallen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 3.8% in July and has fallen for six months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 1.8% in July and has risen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.9% and is now showing falls for five months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 4.1% in July and has fallen for the last nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.9% in July and has fallen for nine months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.4% in July and has risen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.4% in July and has risen for 19 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.3% in July and has fallen for six months.
