DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 4.6% in September 2009 and has risen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.7% and has risen for eight months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 1.1% in September and has risen for ten months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.6% and has risen for ten months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 0.2% in September and has risen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.9% and has risen for eight months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.4% in September. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.1% and has risen for nine months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 3.4% in September and has risen for nine months.
