DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 3.0% in May and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.1% in May and has fallen for four months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 0.2% in May and has fallen for two months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.2% in May and has risen for 11 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 3.2% in May and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% in May and has risen for 16 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 1.6% in May and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.6% in May after rising for 15 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 0.5% in May and has fallen for three months.
