In Tasmania in November 2011, in trend terms, there were:

    • 14,300 cattle slaughtered, a fall of 6.9% from the November 2010 figure

    • 3,200 calves slaughtered, which was 23.4% below the November 2010 figure

    • 5,500 sheep slaughtered, a fall of 1.4% from the November 2010 figure

    • 36,900 lambs slaughtered, an increase of 42.2% on the November 2010 figure. This was the first fall in this series since November 2010.
