The Air and Space Transport industry subdivision generated Total income of $21.0b. The main source of income was Income from transport services, accounting for 85.1% ($17.8b) of Total income.

Total expenses of the Air and Space Transport industry subdivision amounted to $20.3b during the 2010-11 financial year. The largest expense items being Total transport related expenses ($9.6b or 47.6% of Total expenses), which was dominated by Air transport running expenses of $7.8b, and Labour costs ($4.1b or 20.4% of Total expenses).
