Independent technical review of the Labour Force survey will be released tomorrow

Acting Australian Statistician, Jonathan Palmer, will release the independent technical review into the Labour Force survey tomorrow.

On 8 October, the ABS announced it would commission a review to ensure high quality Labour Force estimates continue to be produced.

The review’s executive summary and the ABS response will be available on the ABS website – www.abs.gov.au from 11.30am, Tuesday 9 December 2014. The full report from the technical review will be available on request.
