REVISIONS


Revisions have been made to incorporate the latest data relating to international trade in goods and services since the last issue of this publication:

  • on an international merchandise trade basis, exports and imports have been revised back to July 2018.
  • on a balance of payments basis, revisions have been applied to:
      • goods credits back to June 2018
      • goods debits back to May 2018
      • services credits back to September 2017
      • services debits back to July 2017.

In original terms the revisions have increased the surplus on goods and services for the seven months to January 2019 by $994m.
