The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released the first round of Australia’s 2011 Census figures at 11.30 am on 21 June 2012.
The Census gives us a snapshot of Australia at a particular point in time that helps us understand more about our communities and how we live.
Census data is available free of charge at the ABS website using a range of easy-to-use products.
