The online form and related information which is provided to you via this website is licensed to you by the Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
2. Permitted Uses and Restrictions
You may use the online form under the terms and conditions set out in this Conditions of Use. The online form is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and by international treaties. You may not take any action to jeopardise, limit or interfere in any manner with the intellectual property rights with respect to the online form. You will take all reasonable measures to protect the online form from unauthorised use, reproduction, distribution or publication.
The licence provided to you by the ABS allows you to open and use the online form on a computer for the purposes of completing and submitting the form to the ABS. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, dissemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the online form, or sub-license, distribute or create derivative works based upon the online form software in whole or in part.
3. Warranty on forms
The ABS will accept completion of a form where the provider has followed the instructions on the online form fully and honestly. The provider accepts that the online form has been provided solely to assist members of the public to discharge their obligations through an alternative method of completion and the ABS cannot accept any responsibility for the use or operation of the online form.
4. Limitation of Liability
The ABS gives no warranty that the online form is free of fault. The ABS will not be liable, except pursuant to any implied warranty, for any loss or damage howsoever caused whether due to negligence or otherwise arising from use of or reliance on the online form. In no event shall the total liability of the ABS to you for all damages exceed the value of this licence. If any dispute arises under this licence, the prevailing party shall be reimbursed by the other party for any and all legal fees and costs associated with dispute resolution.
The ABS accepts no liability for any interference with or damage to a user's computer system, software or data occurring in connection with or relating to this web site or its use.
5. Term and Termination
You may use the online form to complete this survey only. Your rights to use the online form will terminate automatically without notice from the ABS if you fail to comply with any term of this licence.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your User Identifier and Password and of the environment in which the online form is used and submitted.
7. Applicable Law and Severability
This licence is covered by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory. Where a court finds that any provision of this licence to be unenforceable, the remainder of this licence shall continue in full force and effect.
