This includes their experience of sexual assault, sexual threat, physical assault and physical threat. Detailed information is provided for the most recent incident for each of the different types of violence by a male and by a female perpetrator. This includes information about the characteristics (such as the location, the involvement of alcohol or drugs), actions taken (help sought, contact with police) and consequences of violence (time off work) for their most recent incident for each of the different types of violence.

It also contains detailed information about men's and women's experience of current and/or previous partner violence such as frequency, actions taken (help sought, contact with police) and consequences (children witnessing, temporary/final separations from partner). Additional information on emotional abuse by a current and/or male/female previous partner is also provided.
