This division covers R&D directed towards human health, including the understanding and treatment of clinical diseases and conditions and the provision of public health and associated support services.
This division has six groups:

9201 Clinical Health (Organs, Diseases and Abnormal Conditions)
9202 Health and Support Services
9203 Indigenous Health
9204 Public Health (excl. Specific Population Health)
9205 Specific Population Health (excl. Indigenous Health)
9299 Other Health

Exclusions:
a) Development of pharmaceutical products to treat diseases and abnormal conditions is included in Group 8608 Human Pharmaceutical Products.
b) Community services not directly impacting on health are included in Group 9401 Community Service (excl. Work).
c) Workplace safety is included in Group 9405 Work and Institutional Development.
d) Quarantine and control measures to prevent the entry of diseases into the country are included in Group 9604 Control of Pests, Diseases and Exotic Species.
