This group covers R&D directed towards the arts and leisure and cultural activities.
It includes:

  • sport and physical endeavour;
  • visual and performing arts;
  • operation of race tracks, sport grounds and facilities and the provision of services to sport (including sporting clubs); and
  • operation of parks, botanical and zoological gardens.
This group has six objectives:
    950101 Music
    950102 Organised Sports
    950103 Recreation
    950104 The Creative Arts (incl. Graphics and Craft)
    950105 The Performing Arts (incl. Theatre and Dance)
    950199 Arts and Leisure not elsewhere classified

    Exclusions:
    a) Film and video services are included in Group 8904 Media Services.
    b) Cinemas or motion picture exhibition is included in Group 9099 Other Commercial Services and Tourism.
