It’s now or never – last chance to have your say in Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey
The Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey closes tomorrow, but there is one last opportunity for people to return their completed survey forms before the survey deadline tomorrow night.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Deputy Statistician and Taskforce Lead, Jonathan Palmer, said ABS offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Geelong and Canberra would be open to receive survey forms from 8:30am until 4:30pm tomorrow.
“If you haven’t already submitted your survey form, this is absolutely the last chance you have to join the estimated 12.3 million eligible Australians who’ve already had their say. You must return your completed form to one of these drop-off locations by 4:30pm tomorrow.”
Victorian residents can return their completed forms to the Geelong drop-off location due to the closure of the Melbourne office for the Melbourne Cup public holiday.
“When you get to the ABS office, you should hand your completed form to an ABS Officer so it can be securely stored and counted in the final results,” Mr Palmer said.
The ABS recently published details about the release of official statistics and templates of participation and response results. The Australian Statistician will announce the results at 10:00am on 15 November 2017 and they will be published online following the announcement.
