1. ANNUAL AGRICULTURAL COMMODITY DATA

The list of commodity information identified for collection through the Agricultural Statistics program on an annual basis is included below. This list was developed based on the commodity's contribution to national and state value of agricultural production. This data will be supplemented with information collected in the ABS Wool Receivals collection and Livestock Slaughter survey published in Livestock Products, Australia (cat. no. 7215.0).

The sum of the value of agricultural production from the list of commodities below, plus the contribution from wool, milk and livestock slaughter production represents approximately 90% of the total value of agricultural production. The approximate 10% of the value of agricultural production which will not be directly collected on an annual basis will be estimated based on previous years measures.
