DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 0.2% in October 2010 after falling for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.5% after falling for ten months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 0.5% in October after falling in September. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% after falling for nine months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 5.0% in October and has fallen for eight consecutive months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.6% and has fallen for ten months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 2.6% in October and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.4% after falling for seven months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.8% in October after falling for seven consecutive months.
