DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 3.7% in March and has fallen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.6% in March and has risen for 12 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 3.6% in March and has fallen for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.9% in March and has fallen for eight months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 2.4% in March and has risen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.7% in March and has fallen for 13 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.2% in March and has risen for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.7% in March and has fallen for three months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.7% in March and has risen for 14 months.
