DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 3.3% in January and has risen for 12 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.5% in January after rising for ten months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 0.7% in January and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.8% in January and has fallen for six months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 1.2% in January after falling for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% in January after falling for ten months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.3% in January and has risen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.3% in January after rising for seven months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 1.1% in January and has risen for 12 months.
