CHANGES IN FUTURE ISSUES
From the September quarter 2015, index numbers for the Stage of Production, Input to the Manufacturing industries, Output of the Manufacturing industries and Output of the Services industries indexes have been calculated using an updated weighting pattern. The updated weighting pattern is derived using data from the Australian National Accounts: Input–Output Tables – Electronic Publication, 2012-13 Final (cat. no. 5209.0.55.001). As a consequence of the re-weighting, the points contributions for the September quarter 2015 will not be comparable with points contributions from earlier periods.
