Please note that new models for calculating standard errors for estimates from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) were introduced in August 2005 and apply to estimates from the LFS from November 2002 onwards. These datacubes were updated on Friday 16th September, 2005 to incorporate the new annotations file. No changes have been made to the estimates themselves. Further information, including formulae for the models, can be found in the paper Labour Force Survey Standard Errors, 2005 (cat. no. 6298.0). While this paper does not make reference to standard errors of family estimates, the model provided to calculate standard errors for estimates of employed persons can be used as a suitable proxy.
