GENERAL GOVERNMENT SECTOR, ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT
GFS revenue for the general government sector across all levels of government increased by $21,021m (3.8%) from $556,629m in 2014-15 to $577,650m in 2015-16. Over the same period GFS expenses increased by $17,327m (3.0%) from $583,487m to $600,814m. As a result the GFS net operating balance moved from -$26,858m to -$23,164m.
Between 30 June 2015 and 30 June 2016 GFS net worth for all levels of government moved from $840,836m to $775,314m.
