RECENT AND UPCOMING RELEASES
AUSTRALIAN SYSTEM OF NATIONAL ACCOUNTS (CAT. NO. 5204.0)
The 2010-11 issue of the Australian System of National Accounts, was released on 28 October 2011. It provides detailed, annual estimates of Australia's National Accounts. These include expenditure, income and production estimates of Gross domestic product (GDP), productivity estimates, sectoral accounts (for households, financial and non-financial corporations, general government and the rest of the world), and additional aggregates dissected by industry. Many, but not all, estimates are available as chain volume measures as well as in current prices.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ACCOUNTS: STATE ACCOUNTS (CAT. NO. 5220.0)
The 2010-11 issue of the Australian National Accounts: State Accounts, was released on 23 November 2011. It provides detailed, annual estimates of Gross state product (GSP) for all states and territories. These are estimated using the expenditure, income and production approaches. Also published are estimates of household and agricultural incomes. Many, but not all, estimates are available as chain volume measures as well as in current prices.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ACCOUNTS: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS (CAT. NO. 5232.0)
The December quarter 2011 issue of Australian National Accounts: Financial Accounts will be released on 29 March 2012. It provides quarterly estimates of the financial flows between sectors of the domestic economy and with the rest of the world. In addition, the publication provides estimates of the financial assets and liabilities owned by each sector and various sub-sectors at the end of each quarter. Other key estimates within the publication include the demand for credit by non-financial domestic institutional sectors during the quarter, and their corresponding levels of credit outstanding.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ACCOUNTS: INPUT-OUTPUT TABLES - ELECTRONIC PUBLICATION (CAT. NO. 5215.0.55.001)
The 2007-08 issue of Australian National Accounts: Input-Output Tables, was released on 9 December 2011. This product presents information on supply and use by detailed product item based on the 2005-06 Input-Output Product Classification (IOPC). It shows Australian production, imports, intermediate usage, final usage, exports, margins and taxes less subsidies on products in 2007-08. These tables are released as Microsoft Excel workbooks.
