Two data cubes containing modelled small area estimates for persons with disability and carers by age and sex for Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2) of usual residence and Local Government Areas have been added to the Downloads tab. A section under the Explanatory Notes tab has also been added, providing summary information about how these small area estimates were modelled. A small amount of text in two sections of the Disability and Carers pages were updated to allow for better interpretation of data. A graph was removed from the Carers section due to incorrect labels. Labels were also updated in table 6 of the Autism in Australia data cube.

A thematic article providing an overview of Australians living in residential aged care using data from the 2015 Survey of Disability, Ageing and Carers was released. A data cube and a PDF information sheet about Australians living in residential aged care were also added to the Downloads tab.
