RELEASE SCHEDULE
A staged release of data from the Schools, Australia (cat. no. 4221.0) publication has been adopted to ensure the ABS supports stakeholder requirements for the data, while being consistent with ABS legislation and policy.
Data dissemination is as follows:
§ Student data cubes, analysis and supporting documentation will be available on 4 February 2016
§ Staff data cubes, including student to teaching staff ratios, and analysis will be available on 3 March 2016
§ School data cubes and student-related measures such as apparent retention rates, and summary tables will be available on 18 March 2016.
Data cubes are published as pivot tables, and have been produced to show the last 15 years' of data where appropriate. The pivot tables facilitate disaggregation of the data. Earlier years, where available, can be found in previous publications under Past and Future Releases of Schools, Australia.
Summary tables incorporate data previously published in PDF format. Prior to 2010, these were available through the Schools, Australia, Preliminary publication (cat. no. 4220.0).
