  • In November 2011, the value of Victorian goods exported overseas was $1,796 million, little changed from the October 2011 value of $1,793 million.
  • At the same time, the value of goods imported into Victoria was $5,242 million, an increase of 1.9% on the October 2011 value of $5,146 million.
  • In 2009-10 the top five overseas exports from Victoria were Motor cars (SITC 781), Aluminium (SITC 684), Medicaments (SITC 542), Wool (SITC 268) and Milk and cream products (excl. butter or cheese) (SITC 022).
  • In 2009-10 the top five overseas imports into Victoria were Motor cars (SITC 781), Petroleum oils (incl. crude) (SITC 333), Petroleum oils (excl. crude) (SITC 334), Motor vehicles for the transport of goods (SITC 782) and Motor vehicle parts and accessories (SITC 784).
