For users who wish to undertake more detailed analysis of the survey data, microdata from the 2014–15 NATSISS has been released in the form of a TableBuilder, and an Expanded Confidentialised Unit Record File (CURF). The TableBuilder contains NATSISS data items, and a separate file is available with data for non-Indigenous persons from the General Social Survey, 2014 (GSS). The GSS non-Indigenous file is known as the GSSNI and GSS data items have only been retained on this file where some comparability with NATSISS is reasonable.
TableBuilder is accessible via the ABS website, using a secure log-on portal. The Expanded CURF is available via the ABS Data Laboratory and the Remote Access Data Laboratory, which is a secure Internet-based data query service.
