In 2012-13 male offenders accounted for the majority of court actions across all selected states and territories, ranging from 78% in Queensland to 82% in the Northern Territory.

Males accounted for more than three quarters of non-court actions across all selected states and territories except the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory (67% and 74% respectively). (Table 28)
