The Shire of Central Desert had a Census Night ratio of 112. Males had a Census Night ratio of 122, while females had a Census Night ratio of 103. Those under the age of 20 years had a Census Night ratio of 97, and those aged 20 years and over had a Census Night ratio of 122.
