The standard contains three distinct variables: the level of a person's highest non-school qualification the main field of a person's highest non-school qualification the year the non-school qualification was completed. Other related standards are 'Highest educational attainment’ and 'Highest year of school completed’. The 'Education Standard Variables Guide’ provides information on education concepts, classifications and terminology used in this standard.
